Huang Xinyan, a student of the School of Hospitality Management, won the first prize in the Restaurant Service (Student Group) of the 2nd National Rural Revitalisation Vocational Skills Competition in Shandong Selection Competition on 25-26 March and will represent Shandong province to take part in the upcoming 2nd National Rural Revitalisation Vocational Skills Competition in Restaurant Service.
The competition is organised by Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province and Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
The event is divided into five modules, namely, theme banquet programme design, theme banquet table setting, meal service, banquet design explanation and on-site defence, and grooming display, which comprehensively examines the players' professional knowledge, professional skills, communication skills and professionalism.
The achievement of the competition not only highlights the positive contribution of the school to the cause of rural revitalisation, but also demonstrates the significant results of the school in the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled personnel.
