The final round of the 14th ‘Challenge Cup’ Shandong Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition (Vocational Institutes Group) came to an end in Jinan from 24th to 25th May. And the college won 1 gold award, 5 silver awards, 14 bronze awards.
The Competition was sponsored by the Communist Youth League Shandong Provincial Committee, Department of Education, Shandong Provincial Association of Science and Technology and Shandong Provincial Students' Federation.
The college declared more than 100 projects, using a combination of online and offline, through the roadshow training, mock defense etc., to carry out multiple rounds of improvement, and finally a total of six projects were selected for the final provincial final.
Among them, guided by Sun Li of Accounting School , Cao Li, Wu Chunhua and other students to complete the project Pest AI Trapping Identification System for Tea Plant won the gold medal.
This year's competition is themed with ‘Gathering in Shandong, Youth Creating the Future’, which has attracted 149 colleges and universities in the province and more than 20,000 pieces of works to apply for the competition since its launch. A total of 218 works of universities and 188 works of vocational colleges have been shortlisted for the final round of the provincial competition after the preliminary rounds of the school-level competition and the provincial review rounds.
As one of the national competitions with the highest attention of college students, ‘Challenge Cup’ is known as the Olympics of innovation and entrepreneurship for Chinese college students.
