During Shandong Vocational Education Research Activity, more than 40 mainstream media journalists from Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily News and China Daily carried out an in-depth research in an immersive and full-scene manner to feel the unique charm of ‘Cradle of China's Hospitality Industry Professional Talents’ through discussion, exchange and field visits on May 30.
The activity is guided by Department of Education of Shandong province and hosted by Dazhong Net- Haibao News.
At the media exchange meeting, Li Da, secretary of the Party committee, made a welcome speech on behalf of the school to welcome the media delegation and introduced the exploration and achievements of the school in the process of high-quality development in the four aspects of ‘strengthening the leadership of Party building, strengthening the top-level design, perfecting the governance system, and creating a good culture’.
President Jiang Yupeng introduced the school's specific initiatives to improve the quality of talent cultivation. The school focuses on high-quality development, empowers new quality productivity, provides institutional models for building a new model of China's modern vocational education system, and provides high-quality human resources support for regional economic and social development.
Lu Shichuan, director of Dazhong Net-Haibao News, introduced the activities and hoped that the media would make use of the all-media communication platform and the innovative form of integrated media to promote and report on the school in-depth, and work together to build a first-class, internationally renowned brand of generalist vocational education for the hospitality industry.
The media reporters visited Hismile Digital Hotel, culinary training base, Qingdao Tourism Big Data Centre, comprehensive training base of intelligent logistics end, Qingdao Bobo Kezi Museum and so on, where they exchanged ideas with teacher and student representatives during the field visit to learn about the school's typical experience and innovative practices in talent cultivation, integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation.
During this research trip, the college showed the vivid practice of flourishing development in the process of creating special vocational education, and promoted the experience and fruitful results in the construction of ‘Double High-level program’.
