We win three first prizes in the 11th Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Shandong province

Recently, the Department of Education of Shandong province announced the list of winners of the 11th Teaching Competition for Young Teachers, and the five teachers of the college won three first prizes and two second prizes, with the comprehensive results ranking the first in the province's higher vocational colleges and universities, which is the best record of the school's participation in the event.

For five consecutive years, the college has been awarded the Excellent Organisation Award by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education.

Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Higher Education is one of the top competitions for teachers in colleges and universities in the province.

This year's competition was launched in November 2023 , a total of more than 600 teachers from all over the province competed in it, of which 274 teachers from 114 colleges entered the semifinal, and 151 teachers from 80 colleges entered the final.

Overcoming all the obstacles, five participating teachers have entered the final. With excellent performance on the spot, Sun Li,  Chen Yifan, and Zhu Jianhua won the first prize, and Liu Taibiao, a teacher of the School of Hotel Engineering, and Li Linxue, a teacher of the School of Accounting, won the second prize.

The school attaches great importance to the work of the competition, participating teachers carefully prepare for it, simulation exercises close to 5,000 minutes per capita, and continue to achieve new breakthroughs in teaching. The Department of Academic Affairs comprehensively unified the preparation mechanism, the formation of on-campus tutor team, and carried out course polishing, winter holiday intensive training, and stress test more than 60 times.

Focusing on the effectiveness of classroom teaching, the training of young teachers, the school has long been committed to teaching quality improvement to promote the professional development of young teachers.
